About Us

Holmes and Moriarty struggle at the Reichenbach Falls

The Society of the Naval Treaty was established in 1994 in Annapolis MD, by Lynn Whitall and Father Peter Caputo. Our incredibly cool and welcoming club meets every other month to discuss all things Sherlockian.

Each meeting features an in-depth discussion of the assigned story followed by a quiz, with questions supplied by the members. We also share Sherlockian sightings and news.

We celebrate The Master's birthday each January with a festive party at our Gasogene (and club founder)'s home. Below is a photo of our group taken at the 2010 party.

We are always on the lookout for fellow Sherlockians to join us. Want to attend a meeting? Just show up! Our next meeting is listed in the yellow box to the right.

If you have any questions, email naval_treaty@yahoo.com
